oct 28 | sydney's eighth birthday

today was sydney's eighth birthday! so glad that I could spend this special time with her before I leave.  she's the brightest light in my life. she kept saying that she didn't want this day to end. it was precious.  we went over to nana's and opened presents and her deck was basically under water due to this crazy hurrican sandy.  nana and i ended up matching; this is my favorite picture of us. i love her so much.

 

this week consisted road tripping to DC to get my new passport + to apply for my visa (thankfully got my visa,) pumpkin pastries, babysitting little skiperton, mason memory jars, sydney's 8th birthday party at the zoo, spending time with ocean and her mom, receiving pictures of my home in India, neighborhood pumpkin painting contests, and peeking out the window as sandy starts her wrath outside.
